AQUALITAS develops an innovative multi-parameter water quality monitoring platform with an integrated AI for continuous cost-effective and low maintenance monitoring of water systems.
Water-intensive industries, water distribution systems, wastewater treatment plants, and agriculture require monitoring of water quality, but real-time water quality monitoring is still a challenge as current solutions require high investment and are maintenance-heavy resulting in low-quality data that is not reliable enough to draw operational conclusions.
Job Description
You design algorithms, train predictive models, deploy them (Python is preferred), and track their performance. You research and implement machine learning methods - clustering, dimensionality reduction, classification, anomaly detection. You are familiar with signal processing methods and challenges. You understand the impact that software plays in the world of data science. You are familiar with Agile, constantly seeking challenges while enjoying the fast feedback loop.
The position includes:

Appling latest ML/DL techniques

Completely own the entire algorithmic life-cycle including problem learning, discovery, data analytics, prototyping of new ideas, and implementing algorithms in a production environment

Investigating latest academic advancements in the field

Writing production code for cloud-based ML application

Plan experiments to generate new datasets

Working within a small core tech team

You will apply your scientific knowledge and creativity to solve complex problems
Qualifications

B.Sc. in Statistics/Physics/Physical Chemistry/Material Science/or related field with emphasis on data analysis

Experience of 2+ years in data science working in a production environment

Experience in working with databases, time series, signal processing, data analytics, and processing, preferably in R&D

Proven experience in algorithm synthesis

Excellent programming skills in Python for data analysis and coding of real-time systems

Advanced understanding, and hands-on of statistical methods, and latest ML/DL techniques
